The extensive history of NHS workers in my family- healthcare was always a front runner. I chose Audiology because there just wasn't enough of us in the UK! More recently consultancy within healthcare has appealed to me as it gives the opportunity to be improved in the process of improving services greater then one patient at a time
Memorable career moment?
Having the opportunity to live and work as a mobile Audiologist on Vancouver Island, servicing a community that previously found it difficulty to receive hearing care. The positive feedback received during this time will always be extremely rewarding and memorable.

I wanted to be part of a consultancy that truly understands healthcare from the inside out. With my background in hearing care and my MBA perspective, I was drawn to the opportunity to work on projects that will improve healthcare across the UK well into the future.
Most significant trend for healthcare in the future?
I believe one of healthcare’s biggest challenges is how we address mental health. Mental health intersects with physical wellbeing, social connection, and has a massive impact on overall quality of life. As demand grows, support must move beyond specialist services and be embedded throughout the system.
