We’ve proudly held our B Corp™ certification since 2023, which reflects our commitment to considering the impact of every decision on all our stakeholders, our people, our partners, our communities, and the environment. Being a B Corp–accredited organisation reinforces our belief that business should be a force for good, and it strengthens our focus on delivering responsible, meaningful work that supports our mission to shape the future of healthcare.

Proud to B

The B Corp movement™ is underpinned by the belief that the most challenging global problems cannot be solved by governments and non-profits alone.

Certified B Corporations™, or B Corps™, are companies who are verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

The B stands for “benefit" - by using business as a force for good, B Corps™ commit to positively impact all stakeholders including workers, communities, customers and our planet.

B Corp™ Certification is unique because it goes beyond product or service-level certification to measure a company’s entire social and environmental performance, making this a special milestone in the Archus journey.

How did we get here?

First, we made a legal commitment to the movement by updating the Responsible Business Principles in our Articles of Association.

Once the legal commitment was made, we started the process of completing a Business Impact Assessment, known as the “BIA”, which measured our business in detail across 5 impact areas: Governance, Workers, Environment, Community and Customers. The rigorous points-based assessment requires a company to score 80 points or more to become B Corp™ certified, and it took us over 10 months to complete the assessment.

Our B Impact score

We're rightly proud of our impact assessment score of 98.5. Look at our B Impact score in more detail.

The median score for ordinary businesses is 50.9 and on average, most companies score between 40 and 60 points on their first attempt at assessment and between 80 and 90 points the first time they certify. Our score is a great reflection of our commitment to social and environmental performance.

To complete our certification, we have signed the B Corp Declaration of Interdependence.

What's next?

Our journey doesn't stop after certification; we’re on a mission to continue improving our impact and to being an active member of the B-Corp™ community where we will:

  • Improve our impact by implementing actions based on our assessment findings
  • Collaborate with other B Corps and work together to find solutions to specific challenges
  • Continue to engage our team in all aspects of our social and environmental journey

Next year, we'll compile and share our first Impact Report, which will help us in actively communicating our progress and future plans.

Join a global community committed to creating an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system for all people and the planet.

Together, let's use business as a force for good.
