At Archus my role involves...
Project management of a range of healthcare projects. Currently I am supporting the delivery phase of the Enabling Works Package 3 at LGI for Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust.
I was drawn to healthcare by...
I had been involved in construction management across the leisure, retail and commercial sectors and an opportunity arose to become involved in healthcare from a consultancy perspective, working closely with NHSE, ICB’s and GP Practices, providing technical support and guidance during Capital funding applications and subsequently through the delivery phase on site.
Memorable career moment?
Fortunately, there have been many however, being a member of the on-site delivery team, who built the iconic 'blue glass pyramid' office building in Stockport, Manchester.
Why Archus?
The business has a great reputation within the healthcare consultancy sector for delivery on key schemes and I saw this as an opportunity to enhance my career.
Most significant trend for healthcare in the future?
The biggest challenge is to be able to successfully secure funding be it from NHSE Capital, local government or private equity, to deliver much needed increased and improved healthcare facilities both in Acute, Community and Primary Care settings.
