I was drawn to healthcare by...
Coming from architecture and immersive technology, I appreciate how spatial design and user experience can directly influence how people feel, interact with and access services. The healthcare sector combines two areas I enjoy working with, human-centred design and well-designed environments, and it is a great space to create impact and improve patient and community experience.
Memorable career moment?
To date, it would be previously working with Northamptonshire Council to help develop a social-change focused immersive digital experience designed to bring deep insights into the homelessness problem in the UK. Now joining Archus, I hope to create more impactful and memorable projects
Why Archus?
I chose Archus because there is a good intersection of strategic advisory, healthcare infrastructure and innovation, which is a good space to leverage my background in architecture and digital design. My own work before Archus focused on social change and conservation, so Archus' people-driven approach to their work is very compelling.
Most significant trend for healthcare in the future?
I think the biggest challenge ahead for healthcare is creating a flexible infrastructure that can keep pace with rapid technological advancements. Digital tools will need to be embedded into services to make things more accessible and efficient, but they can also pose challenges, such as security issues and resistance to digital adoption.
