At Archus my role involves...

Through the expansion of Archus Canada, I lead the provision of a broad range of consultancy services within the Canadian healthcare market. In my direct work with clients, I champion and support strategy and visioning, encouraging the incorporation of digi-physical, future thinking concepts from project inception.

I was drawn to healthcare by...

I started working at Princess Margaret Hospital when I was 17 with two of my closest friends to get out of rural Ontario and to the big city – they paid for me to go to university. I was studying hospital admin and when I became involved in the process of converting an old smoking room to an MRI suite, I realized how much I loved form, function and the process of design and project work.

Memorable career moment?

As a passionate advocate for developing the next generation of healthcare leaders, I am proud to have become a Mentor in Residence at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine & Innovation, as well as the Women’s Infrastructure Network and more recently, becoming a Founding President of the Canadian Womens’ Circle of Healthcare (CWCH)

Why Archus?

The Archus Team! Incredible skills and fabulous culture. Working for Archus provides the ability to draw on the capabilities of a global team, combining relevant international experience with local delivery to drive innovation which will help shape the future of Canadian Healthcare.

Most significant trend for healthcare in the future?

In Canada, 6.5 million people do not have primary care support, surgery waiting lists are way beyond established acceptable treatment times, and our clinical resources are at a critical shortage level. I know our team can help create pathways to improving the system to affect change in these critical areas.
