Rachel Heywood joins Archus to lead digital advisory work
Archus is delighted to announce that Rachel Heywood-Clarke has joined us to lead our Digital Advisory work. This new service will support our clients with exploiting new time-efficient and patient-focussed ways of working that are enabled by technology. The guidance will help deliver tangible efficiencies to both project delivery and the operational estate.
Rachel brings with her first-hand experience of programme and project management, specifically the establishment of digital protocols and processes for projects across healthcare and public infrastructure. In particular, she is recognised for the work she has done to demystify the world of digitally-focussed services. She was a project manager on the £350m Grange University Hospital, with responsibility for soft landings and the asset handover, and most recently, provided consultancy support to the Head of Capital Projects at the RUH Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
Rachel’s experience in delivering digital transformation, from the steps needed to become a digitally-enabled organisation to the power of supporting data and analytics, means that Rachel is perfectly positioned to consult on strategic big picture requirements and granular project outputs.
Her passion for digital, not simply as a technology-driven workstream but one which is focused on people, brings huge benefits for all stakeholders as it launches an additional medium for improved processes, better collaboration, and valuable outcomes.
We are delighted to have Rachel join our growing team and are confident that Rachel’s skills and background will bring great value to our clients and our team. Rachel is a recognised leader in digital infrastructure and I’m keen to see what new and innovative ideas she has to support our growth and the many projects we are working on.
Victoria Head, Head of Programme and Project Management
A Chartered Project Manager, Rachel has a background in delivery across the public sector, embracing the UK’s digital agenda as it has developed from the Construction Strategy 2011 to the new Construction Playbook. Rachel's first project will be working alongside the Archus Clinical Design team on delivering new hospitals across the UK.
Healthcare infrastructure is complex and multi-faceted - and innovative solutions are needed to bring transformation for all members of the healthcare community. I’m excited to be joining a practice which has such a focus on ‘people’, often the forgotten arm of digital. I’m looking forward to working closely with clients, helping them to articulate their digital needs and aspirations, and shape outcomes to build robust digital assets to support the future of healthcare infrastructure.
