As a student I used to spend each summer as a hospital porter at the Royal Surrey County Hospital Guildford. I soon started to understand and question the link between operational issues, ways of working, and how a hospital was built.
Memorable career moment?
Far too many to name. Running clinical workshops in Sweden; Ukraine; China; Qatar; Falkland Islands. Then actually making it home!

Archus provides me with the opportunity to work with like-minded people, solely dedicated to healthcare planning, design and related management. I work with some of the very best people in my industry.
Most significant trend for healthcare in the future?
The biggest challenge for me is the training and development of the next generation of healthcare planners. I have always been keen to share knowledge, experiences and provide training to those people keen to develop their own skill set.
