Stan is one of Archus’ founding Directors, and a project and programme professional with experience across health, central government and the local authority sector. He previously headed the London health team in a large national consultancy business; and has been responsible for a large number of schemes for NHS clients across the Acute, Mental Health, Community and Primary Care sectors. He has also worked with government bodies, private healthcare providers and charitable trusts.

I am the Director responsible for Corporate Services at Archus, which includes a wide range of important enabling functions from risk and compliance to marketing. My background is in programme and project management and I also deliver a number of ongoing commissions for clients, particularly in London and the South East region.

I joined a small consultancy over 12 years ago that specialised in the health sector. I have found working with the really dedicated people in the NHS and the variety of projects that we do very rewarding to be part of.
Memorable career moment?
Being involved in the set up of the London Nightingale Hospital working with colleagues across the NHS, consultancies and contractors to deliver a field hospital in just over two weeks.
Why Archus?
I founded Archus with four colleagues I had worked with in other businesses. We wanted to do something different for the health sector – and I think we have achieved that.
Most significant trend for healthcare in the future?
The huge investment required to bring the whole of the healthcare estate to modern standards is an extreme challenge. Investment is required not only in the Acute facilities but also in Community, Mental Health and Primary Care.
