PROJECTS: Archus appointed to support delivery of innovative new Health & Wellbeing Hub in Shrewsbury

Archus have been appointed by NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin to support the development of an innovative new Health & Wellbeing Hub in Shrewsbury.

The appointment sees us providing a range of services for the scheme including financial analysis and authoring for the Outline Business Case & Full Business Case Development, Capacity Planning and Workforce Planning.

The project is one of six ‘pioneer’ schemes within a national NHS programme which has been established to provide in-community health and wellbeing buildings which offer a range of joined-up health and social care services in flexible and fit-for-the future facilities. It will also demonstrate a commitment to achieving sustainability and energy efficiency in the drive towards net zero, by being the second NHS building in England designed to meet Passivhaus standards.

quote
“This project is at the forefront of modern Primary Care delivery, promoting collaborative working, economic efficiency, sustainability and social impact to ensure it will make a real difference to the lives and health outcomes of the local community. Archus have a long track record in successful delivery of business cases, with a 100% approval rating, and so we are excited to bring our skills and experience to the Shrewsbury Health and Wellbeing Hub project and to establishing a successful working relationship with NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.”
